Starfire Silicon Oxycarbides are our family of Glassy Matrix Forming Polymers.  These polymers are developed with a higher oxygen content to produce lower temperature silicon carbide ceramics.  These pre-ceramic polymers produce a glassy matrix suitable for low to medium (600°C to 1000°C) temperature advanced monolithic and fiber reinforced ceramic composites.
