STARBlade®
Starfire® Systems has developed a family of light weight composite friction materials for automotive, motorcycle, aircraft, bus, train, and fleet applications. STARBlade® ceramic rotors are manufactured using our proprietary polymers and high quality carbon weaves. They employ nano-engineering to offer improved friction characteristics with greater wear and fade resistance. Unlike conventional steel discs, our rotors actually perform better as their temperature increases. Our brakes are safely taking friction performance to the 21st century by bridging performance gaps between passenger and large commercial vehicles. The result is a new standard of high performance rotors that combines the benefits of carbon and ceramic friction technology with the application convenience of steel rotors.

The STARBlade® Advantage:
STARBlade® has proven capable of increasing fuel efficiency, acceleration, braking consistency, and total life-span. These benefits are realized while improving braking and handling performance even at-the-limit. Drivers and operators who use our rotors know exactly what to expect when they apply braking force: smooth, quiet, powerful friction. Our brakes are technically superior to existing friction systems because they are unaffected by moisture and temperature. With less un-sprung mass, our rotors offer the potential for components at all corners of a vehicle to be engineered for reduced weight. Starfire rotors are fully compatible with OEM equipment, and require little retrofitting. Brake pads can be designed to last longer, since harder, wear resistant materials have virtually no affect on the lifespan of our rotor. STARBlade® is simply better than any existing Carbon/Carbon or ceramic friction product available today.
