Versatility is a key part of Starfire's engineered machinable composite material systems. Starfire engineers will work directly with our customers to identify a suitable Starboard product with the correct size and performance requirements. Large scale production capabilities and low machining costs make these products desirable for oversized high temperature molds and tooling boards. We can also prototype and fabricate small part designs that include, but are not limited to nuts, bolts, washers, and screws. All of these lightweight products exhibit dimensionally stable strength and corrosion resistance in the most extreme environments.

Starfire's proprietary ceramic forming polymers are combined with a range of high quality fibers and / or powder fillers to achieve desired working characteristics.  The result is a nanoengineered composite that meets customer specifications for performance, size, and shape. Small parts can be manufactured with any thread count and head type. STARBoard^® M-series finds applications in aerospace assembly, furnace construction, tooling molds, and other industries where lightweight and high temperature strength is crucial for extended reliable performance.
